What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational therapy aims to support and encourage people of all ages to perform at their best in everyday occupations. We all take on our different roles, and these start as soon as we are born. A children’s occupation, whether that be playing, being a student, or being a daughter/ son all requires a set of skills that can include, Gross motor skills, Fine Motor Skills, Handwriting skills, Self-care, Emotional regulation, Social Skills, Feeding, Sensory Regulation and many more.
